Anthony Knight
Anthony Knight was born and raised in Nashville, TN where he found his love for sports. Football and fitting in with the athletic crowd was what he found his identity in. This led to a few years of walking in darkness before he was grabbed by the Lord at age 19 in his second year of college. As he played football for a small university in Lebanon TN, his passions for football began to dwindle as he became familiar with God's Word. The more he read about God the more he wanted to share what he learned. This passion continued to increase as he began being mentored by Pastor Erik Reed, a local pastor within walking distance from the University. Throughout the months of being mentored, he was offered an internship position at his church, which opened his eyes to teaching and preaching. After his internship, Anthony started a Young Adult ministry there to minister to the college age and young professionals in his area. He is currently preaching at Discipleship Nows and student conferences and camps, studying for his Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and being a husband to his newly married wife Nicole. Anthony enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with Nicole. Anthony has one major life goal: to be a mighty soldier for God's Kingdom. He is pursuing that daily along with failing daily. As he continues on his early years of ministry, he is looking forward to dedicating his life to disciple other mighty soldiers for the Kingdom of God.
