With over 100 yards of a pristine white Gulf Coast private beach, and 17 acres of room to play, meet and share, Shalimar Retreat provides an upbeat, camp-like setting. Shalimar has been hosting Centrifuge since 1990.
Please be aware that your group is personally responsible for damages to any facilities including but not limited to the dorm room your group occupies. You will also be asked by the facility to pay for any lost keys.

Amenities

Shalimar offers incredible recreation options from ocean activities like snorkeling and sea kayaking to on-campus options including 2 swimming pools, 3 sand volleyball courts, basketball, and plenty of field space. The bulk of the accommodations consist of five buildings, each with eight rooms that are in a dorm style configuration ideal for youth groups. All the rooms are air conditioned and each have a self contained bathroom and shower area. Shalimar has both twin and full size mattresses, so we would encourage participants to bring a sleeping bag, flat sheets only, or full size sheets just in case. Brian Jennings

Brian Jennings serves at First Baptist Church Woodstock in Georgia as the Discipleship Pastor. He graduated from Southeastern Seminary with a master’s degree and earned his bachelor’s from Virginia Tech University. Ryne Ladley

Ryne is a recent graduate of the University of Memphis. Being born and raised in Memphis, his love for music of all varieties started very young. Growing up, Ryne was always involved in sports and never played any instruments until he was asked to play in the band at his church where he played drums. In 2013 Ryne started leading worship at his home church, Gracewood Baptist, and has since had the opportunity to lead worship at several churches around Tennessee and Mississippi. He really has felt God call him to minister to students through music and can’t wait to give all glory to God throughout the summer.
