Andrew Greer is a Dove Award-nominated singer/songwriter, respected author and co-creator of the innovative Hymns for Hunger Tour. Helping raise awareness and resources for hunger relief organizations around the country, the tour has been presented on hundreds of dates across the nation, along with special performances at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan’s Purse, HeavenFest and Amy Grant’s “Tennessee Weekend”. Andrew’s affection for vintage hymns has been captured on his folk recordings, Angel Band: The Hymn Sessions and Angel Band: The Christmas Sessions – reaching the Top 10 on Amazon and iTunes mainstream charts. His 2013 recording, All Things Bright & Beautiful, held the #1 spot on Nielsen Christian SoundScan’s Instrumental chart for 25 weeks.
In tour dates across at home and abroad, Andrew has shared the stage with musical friends and folks like Amy Grant, Brandon Heath, Leeland and Cindy Morgan. As a songwriter his songs have been recorded by artists like Jaci Velasquez and Nic Gonzales (of Salvador). And as an author, Andrew’s stories have appeared in publications like Christianity Today and In Touch. His first book – Transcending Mysteries: Who is God, and What Does He Want From Us? – co-authored with Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Ginny Owens, was released in 2015. When not on the road Andrew enjoys his home in Franklin, TN.
