Austin Miller began serving as a worship leader in 2014 at Christopher Road Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. From there he has served as worship leader at several churches including Bethlehem Church West Campus, Broad River Community Church, and now as a member of the team at Hope Community Church in Shelby, NC, as well as serving as a leader in his campus band at Gardner-Webb University.
Austin believes that worship through music is one of many ways to glorify God. Because of what the Lord has done for us, He is worthy of all of our praise, all of the time. Worship is something that should be a constant in our lives. Austin’s favorite Bible verse is Galatians 5:1, which says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Austin believes that the Lord is going to radically change lives this summer and free students and their leaders from the slavery that they have been walking in.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
